Defensive Driving

Defensive driving can be defined as "driving to save lives, time, and money, in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others". The term 'defensive driving' refers to driving a vehicle in such a way that a driver can minimize the risk of an accident, or any other adverse situation on the road.

Driving is risky business. As a defensive driver, you can avoid crashes and help lower your risk behind the wheel.

Some Employers offer Defensive Driving courses where the aim is to improve awareness of the real risks associated with driving and to increase knowledge and skills essential to safe and efficient driving.
