All personnel on site whether an employee, contractor, sub contractor or visitor has a duty of care under Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
Employers must so far as practicable provide and maintain a safe system of work where employees/contractors are not exposed to hazards.
Employers must ensure they provide:
- information, resources, training, and supervision,
- a safe working environment,
- safe systems of work,
- equipment, materials and PPE to ensure the safety of it's workers, and
- safe plant, machinery, equipment and tools.
