As the leading provider of thousands of Inductions to organisations and workplaces all across Australia, we are passionate about strengthening Indigenous opportunities to work in these organisations. Over 350,000 businesses are managed through our Online Induction platform and over 3 million users.
The kadadjiny Indigenous Scholarship is a scholarship aimed at improving educational outcomes for Indigenous Australians and help provide pathways to jobs across these organisations and many other different sectors.
The scholarship program continues to focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander* students via funding to help support their university education expenses.

The vision of the kadadjiny indigenous scholarship is to help transform the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians through education support, one life at a time, helping to grow the number of Indigenous leaders and role models.
We aim to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians in realising their academic potential. We working to help change the current narrative of Indigenous education across Australia so that educational excellence and high achievement is seen more widely.
kadadjiny is the noongar word for learning.
Eligibility and obligations:
We will accept applications from Indigenous candidates who in any year of study at an Australian university.
Scholarships can be used to help cover daily living costs, books, tution, travel, private tutoring and other related studying and education support expenses. Recipients will receive Scholarships in the amount of: $3500 (awarded twice yearly, summer and winter recipients)
- Applications are reviewed & candidates are shortlisted for interview
- Interviews take place throughout Australia (in person or via Zoom)
- Successful applicants will receive funding
- Opportunity to provide feedback and updates around your studies and future progress back to the kadadjiny Scholarship community and support network
In some circumstances there may be Tax and/or Centrelink implications for scholarship recipients. We advise applicants to seek advice from a tax consultant and Centrelink where necessary.
Assessment
Applicants will be assessed based on merit according to: education commitment, financial support need, a strong sense of cultural awareness and the outcome of an applicant interview. Decision will be independently reviewed and decided by an appointed panel.
Shortlist
Applicants who are shortlisted and invited to an interview will be required to provide a declaration of Aboriginality and complete an eligibility documentation form, prior to the interview round of the matching process.
This is a competitive program attracting high calibre passionate candidates each round. Applicants who unsuccessful are encouraged reapply.
