Troubleshooting: Why is my induction showing expired on the day its completed?

In most cases this can occur where an induction type has no set expiry period.

Each induction needs to have an expiry period set, with the option of "Infinite" for inductions that do not expire.

If this is not set the user will appear to admin as completed and expired with the same date reference.

Tutorial : How to set an expiry period against an induction

How to check this?

To check whether an induction has a set induction period, first log in as an admin and then click setup/manage content

From here click on Manage Induction Content

On the right hand side you will see a link titled induction period under the options menu.

Here a listing of all your inductions with a set expiry period is visible. If your induction is not listed, you will need to select from the induction drop down and the valid period and click save. This will correct users in real time.
