As with any new hazard, conducting a thorough risk management process (identify, assess, control, monitor) will lead to a safer work environment.

In regard to COVID-19 and how it may affect your business, the first step will require you to conduct a Risk Assessment.

Ensure you consult with your OHS Reps, OHS Committee, Management team and employees on how best to assess the risk of COVID-19 on your business.

Once all the hazards and risks have been identified and prioritised you will need put in control measures to eliminate or minimise them.
